It is very important to know and recognise that of the many organisations that call themselves as accreditation bodies, credentialling bodies, Etc
The IAPC&M(International Authority for Professional Coaching & Mentoring) is the only organisation in the world to be given authority by a governmental body-to use the word Accreditation.
It is the only one of the various so-called accreditation companies to have official government backing and to be recognised and approved by- the British Industry Ombudsman
If you are accredited by any other organisation, you ought to ask them the question

As you probably know, in the UK at least, the word ‘accreditation’ (like authority, institute etc.) is a protected word; the IAPC&M is the only accreditation body authorised to use it, as approved by the British Industry Ombudsman.
